VVV-Gaia Plx

Abstract

We can make use of the precise astrometry that is provided by VVV time series data. This can allow us to improve Gaia parallaxes with the use of VVV and a MultiLayer Perceptron (MLP). The goal is to use the deeper IR VVV photometry (and hence astrometry) in nearby embedded regions to improve distance measurements.
